Kundalini – a brief introduction to kundalini yoga

Stemming from the vedic and tantric traditions, kundalini is the life force that drives creativity, it’s divine feminine energy and ispresent in all of us.
It originates at the root chakra where it lays dormant. When activated, it travels along the sushumna through the chakra centers, balancing them and healing the spiritual body. When this divine energy travels from the bottom all the way to the crown chakra, the result is the balance of feminine and masculine energy. This process is addressed as kundalini awakening, which feels like an ecstatic emotional release .
Stages of the kundalini awakening
The four stages that lead to the acrivation of kundalini energy are:
1. purification
detox and purify your body, eat well and release mental tension. To do this in a yogic way, you can practice meditation, bhandas, mudras.
2. activation
activate kundalini energy using breathing techniques (e. kriya breathing), chanting, practicing yoga poses
3. rising, passing through the chakras
the rise of the kundalini energy will bring up a lot of emotions. When this happens, do not repress it, but feel it and accept it completely, being open to it and meeting the need it highlights
4. integration
to maintain this balanced energy in your life, make sure to properly eat, exercise, express your feelings and thoughts, release stress, surrpound yourself with loving relationships

3. increased creative energy
4. increased libido
5. improved sleep
6. reduced anxiety
