My Educational Journey

My passion for understanding how shifting values and evolving needs influence societal changes led me to pursue a Bachelor's in Trend Research & Concept Creation in Lifestyle at Fontys ACE in 2019. This academic voyage provided me with a unique opportunity to delve into the complexities of societal shifts and learn how to translate this understanding into innovative, future-proof products and services that enhance the quality of life. 

 

Specialisations and Real-World Experience

Throughout my studies, I had the privilege of specialising in a digital marketing minor at Rotterdam UAS. In addition, I gained invaluable real-world experience through internal communication and product marketing internships. These experiences bridged the gap between theory and practical application, equipping me with the skills to make a tangible impact.

Current Focus

My current endeavour is my Graduation Project, "Connected Harmonies." It's a futures research initiative exploring the drivers of change within social well-being and digitalisation. This project has led to the creation of a preferable future scenario, a future persona, and an innovative research and design tool known as the Future Gateway Deck. 

 

My Passion and Beliefs

My professional journey is driven by a deep passion for exploring the future, psychology, and philosophy. Creativity is a powerful tool for self-expression, connecting individual values and purpose to broader societal needs. I firmly believe that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand and are essential for creating impactful, positive change.Beyond my professional pursuits, I'm a Yoga teacher and Tarot reader. I'm deeply committed to infusing a spiritual and purposeful perspective into lifestyle studies, understanding that individual well-being is intricately connected to the broader human experience.

Notable Achievements

Tesla Internship: During my internship at Tesla, I recognized a global trend for better work-life balance during the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, I introduced a weekly well-being newsletter exploring positive psychology, lifestyle, and mindset. This effort was incredibly fulfilling as it supported my colleagues during challenging times.

Your15 Project: My "Your15" project resulted from my deep dive into smokers' behavioural patterns and psychology. Leveraging my marketing expertise, I created a digital concept, your15, aimed at helping individuals quit smoking and improve their quality of life.

Connected Harmonies: My most significant achievement is the "Connected Harmonies" project. It represents almost a year of intensive research and conceptualization. This project delves into the rise of loneliness the impact of digitalisation on our connectedness, and envisions a future where authenticity, empathy, and connection define our lives. As a part of this project, I've designed the Future Gateway Deck, a versatile tool for creative research and concept development.

 

The Road Ahead

As I explore the future, I'm excited to present the "Connected Harmonies" project at Dutch Design Week, sharing insights that may inspire positive change in the world. Together, we can shape a transformative future. Let's connect and work towards making a positive impact.​
